Following an LL.B (Hon’s) from International Islamic University, I was then educated in law at the Coventry University, England with an LL.M in International Business and Commercial Law which was followed by an Undergraduate Certificate Course in Globalisation from prestigious University of Oxford. I was called to the Bar of England & Wales as a Barrister by the Hon’ble Society of Grays Inn, England. I have been practicing in the areas of constitutional law, commercial law, national and international arbitration,  Banking and corporate laws, anti corruption commission laws including money laundering and other predicate offences and other complex areas of laws. Many of the notable complex cases I have worked in either independently or with senior advocates are now reported in different law journals. I worked as an associate of Mr. Ahsanul Karim and conducted a great number of complex cases of this country. Currently being Managing Partner of one of the well reputed law firm of the country I have been conducted various complex litigations specially related to shipping industries.

Prior to my practice in Bangladesh I have practiced in the area of human Rights and judicial review in England representing a great number of clients in different English courts. In the meanwhile I have also thought British laws in different schools of laws in Bangladesh namely London College of Legal Studies (LCLS) South. Apart from my advocacy work, I take keen interest in writing for national widely circulated news papers. I have contributed many articles, amongst others, in the area of constitutional laws, human rights and international politics and contemporary legal issues which were published in national widely circulated english dailies namely Daily Star, Independent etc.
